Yoga For the Infertility Journey
These sessions + classes are focused on allaying the physical, mental, and emotional stresses of the infertility journey. Research has shown yoga to be efficacious in addressing the anxiety and depression that can often accompany the infertility experience as well as in increasing resilience, or the ability to ride the waves of ups and downs, in order to stay in treatment, which ultimately can lead to higher success rates in conceiving. Additionally, through movement, breathwork, meditation, and self- study, these sessions can help balance the nervous system, which can benefit hormone imbalances. These sessions are for those working with primary and secondary infertility. Young children are welcome to be present in private sessions.
Prenatal + Postnatal Yoga After Infertility
These sessions + classes are designed to support you from conception through early parenthood. In addition to providing safe practices through the many changes in pregnancy and post-birth, these sessions are geared toward honoring your unique journey to parenthood. Sessions will include movement, breathwork, meditation, and opportunities for self-study in order to explore and foster the connection with yourself and your baby through the many stages of becoming a parent after infertility. These sessions are for those working with primary and secondary infertility. Young children are welcome to be present in private sessions.
General Adult Yoga + Mindfulness Sessions
General adult Yoga + Mindfulness sessions provide a safe, supported environment to strengthen and increase flexibility in both the mind and the body. Classes combine movement, breath, and meditation to help increase awareness, acceptance, and compassion. Adult offerings include group + private sessions and can focus on a variety of styles including, but not limited to: Vinyasa, Gentle, and Restorative practices
Kids yoga + Mindfulness Sessions
Using fun, age-appropriate exercises, games, art projects, and more, these sessions introduce children to tools that will help them connect their mind, body and breath. These practices help kids experience greater awareness of the present moment, tune in to their ability to focus and tune out distraction, access tools to self-calm their bodies and minds by activating their parasympathetic nervous systems, and better regulate their emotions and their bodies.
Family Yoga + Mindfulness Sessions
Unplug from the hectic world around you and connect with your family. Together we’ll move, play, breathe, and leave our worries behind. We'll learn and practice techniques that you can easily adapt from our session to your busy daily lives.
